HORNSTULL AT SÖDERMALM
Södermalm is one of Stockholms most beloved islands, and the area Hornstull not at least. Surrounded by the lake Mälaren it has plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, parks and swiming possibilities.
It´s a former working class environment that has “upgraded” in the last years. It means it´s quite trendy today, and has preserved some of the classic Stockholm ambient and buildings.
Hornstulls Market takes place every Saturday and Sunday, from April to September (for the moment paused because of Corona).
Peaceful Långholmen is known for bathing, canoeing and beatiful paths meandering between trees and gardens. There are some really nice cafés as well.
The mall of Hornstull, with a lot of nice shops, cafés, food and people. And a popular night club too! Here you take metro and busses to the rest of the city.
Skinnarviksberget is the highest point in central Stockholm. From here you see the city 360 degrees! A wonderful place for a picnic or to see all the fireworks around Stockholm on New Year’s Eve. The surrounding is filled with typical houses from the 17th and 18th centuries.
