FAQ FOR TENANTS

Believe it or not, you don’t pay anything for our services. If and when you decide to rent and apartment via Newstay, you start paying for rent. Before that, we book viewings and show you apartments around the city until you have found the right one that matches your requirements.
We handle all contract and invoice administration, and conduct thorough move-in inspections along with  personal handovers in each apartment when the tenant is moving in. We do have optional extra services that can be ordered to an additional cost. That includes home cleaning, handyman services and ordering of furniture, among other services.
No. Newstay only rent out apartments to companies on behalf of their employees.
Normally, you have three calendar months’ cancellation notice period. There are exceptions however, and if you have questions about this don’t hesitate to ask us.

It is your responsibility as a tenant to care for and maintain your new rental apartment as you would your own home. The contract and documents provided during the move-in procedure clearly outlines your responsibilities when it comes to maintaining your apartment. You are for example responsible for keeping all the sinks of the kitchen and bathrooms clean and free from hair, replace any broken lightbulbs and avoid acidic fluids, vinegar or wine on any delicate stone or marble surfaces in kitchen or bathrooms.
Essentially, what we ask of you is that you treat the apartment with care.
