We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. What data do we collect and why?

When a request is made, we collect personal data, mainly for our tenants, as names, address, telephone number, email address and employer information.

Retention purpose and period of processing data on a legal basis

• Private individuals – necessary for performance of contract, 3 years.
• Corporate – legitimate interest, 3 years.
• Administration payment – necessary for performance of contract, 3 years.
• Bookkeeping of transactions – legal obligation, 7 years.
• Marketing – legitimate interest, 3 years.

Business reservations

When someone else (than the actual guest) makes a reservation for another person, we process the other persons personal data with the legal basis legitimate interest of the booker (which usually is the employer to the person) and for our own legitimate interest in order to be able to know what is needed for their particular stay.

Marketing

We process our customers e-mail addresses for marketing purposes, as our legitimate interest. There is a possibility to choose not to be added to our marketing e-mailing list when we collect the information, and at every consecutive email from us there will be a possibility to opt-out from the emailing list. You can also opt out from marketing by emailing us to info@newstay.se.

Withdrawing consents

If you have previously given a consent to a specific processing of your data, you can freely withdraw such consent at any time. You can do this by emailing us at info@newstay.se
If you do withdraw your consent, and if we do not have another legal basis for processing your information, then we will stop processing your personal data for that purpose.
